Poggenpohl shines at Eurocucina
This year, Poggenpohl was present with a magnificent 540 square-metre stand that reflected the true essence and identity of the brand in every detail – from the displays and lighting down to the coffee cups. The Poggenpohl team consisted of 60 people.
The new Porsche Design kitchen, P'7340, was displayed in both a black and a white variety. As the only co-branded kitchen at the event, it attracted enormous attention from the thousands of visitors to the stand with its new design language and unique construction.
In addition to the P'7340, a + SEGMENTO kitchen was shown in acrylic-coated, high-gloss fronts in the colour black with a striking backsplash in carrara statuary marble. The stone was cut in a special way so that a consistent pattern emerged. The same marble was also used on one of the dining desks on display. The dining desk (below) was shown as a prototype at Eurocucina two years ago, but is now in production thanks to a collaboration with the German furniture manufacturer, Draenert. The dining desk will be sold though Poggenpohl showrooms and is designed to harmonise with the kitchens.
The interest in Poggenpohl's stand exceeded all expectations, according to business unit manager Elmar Duffner. "We have been approached by hundreds of industry professionals and journalists from all over the world, from Asia to South America, who are curious about Poggenpohl and our products. It's incredible, the interest that this fair has generated for our brand and for us as a company."
